LeBron James is considering retirement after being eliminated in the Western Conference Finals by the Denver Nuggets in a 4-0 sweep. "Just personally, with me moving forward with the game of basketball, I got a lot to think about" said James in his post-game presser.
LeBron James has two years left on his contract worth 97 million dollars and a player option in his last year. James was stellar in his 20th season and age 38 season. LeBron averaged 28.9 points per game this season and passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most points scored in NBA history.
Lebron has expressed desires to play with his son Bronny James who is expected to be a first round draft pick in the 2024 NBA draft.
It would be devastating to see LeBron James retire after this season without the opportunity to give him a farewell tour as one of the greatest players to ever play the game and hopefully we get to see James put on a uniform again next season.
