The sixers have been able to manage without Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and James Harden all out of the lineup going 3-1 over their last 4 with Embiid out of the lineup, only falling to the Charlotte Hornets on November 23rd. Despite the sixers great record without the big man, sixers fan were still eager to have their all star back on the floor and not have their team operate with roll players for just a long stretch.

The sixers were able to squeeze past the Hawks tonight in a 104-101 win at home. Joel Embiid led all scorers with 30 points and added 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the come from behind victory for the sixers. Joel Embiid made two crucial plays down the stretch, first taking the ball from the left wing driving into Dejounte Murray and knocking down a smooth 14 foot step-back to put the sixers up 101-100 with 18.6 to go. Out of the hawks timeout Embiid is able to make a play reading the Trae young lob attempt to John Collins, deflecting and stealing the pass forcing the Hawks to foul and closing out the game after some made free throw attempts.

Joel Embiid returning is huge for this sixers basketball team as they have the Cleveland Cavaliers next on the road on November 3oth. The sixers didn't have the best shooting night only shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from three, but were able to capitalize off of having more possessions and making their free throws going 16-18 from the line

Trae Young and De'Andre Hunter led the Hawks with 18 a piece. Tobias Harris had an efficient 24 points for the sixers and Shake Milton who has been playing well in the absence of Tyrese Maxey had 21 points tonight.
