Stories of Day 4 of the NBA Playoffs

These playoffs are continuing to not disappoint as the Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers tied up their respective series 1-1 heading on the road

Atlanta Hawks at Boston Celtics. Score 119 - 106 / Series 2-0

Honestly this series in my opinion is virtually over, the Atlanta Hawks are no match for the Boston Celtics this year. The Celtics cruised to a win over the Atlanta Hawks at home extending their series lead and protecting home court. Jayson Tatum ended up with 29 points and 10 rebounds and Derrick White had a great game in the starting lineup with Robert Williams still returning from injury with 26 points of his own.

This series should be over in five games at most with Atlanta heading home they have a chance to get a win on their home floor however most likely this series will be over by the end of the week on Sunday. The Celtics as well as the 76ers, will most likely matchup in the second round and that will be the series for both teams that we look forward to.

New York Knicks at Cleveland Cavaliers. 90-107 / Series 1-1

The Cleveland Cavaliers take a game on their home floor in a grit and grind win over the New York Knicks with an excellent game from Darius Garland who poured in 32 points and seven assists on the night. The Cavaliers game plan against the Knicks worked in full effect, taking on the physicality on the Knicks and returning it on the defensive side of the ball holding the Knicks to 24.1 percent from three and 36.7 percent from the field.

Brunson struggled from the field, seeming like he was hit every time he drove into the lane. He finished 5 of 17 from the field and minus 10 for the game. Randle had a couple of turnovers, he had six for the game and the Knicks as a whole had 17 turnovers for the game. The other story from this game is the play of Caris LeVert who had a great game, getting the start over Isaac Okoro in the second half. He ended up with 24 points 9 of 16 from the field and a plus 23 for the night. Okoro only played three minutes tonight and has been struggling offensively so far this series.

Los Angeles Clippers at Phoenix Suns. 109-123 / Series 1-1

The Phoenix Suns also walked away with a win on their home floor tonight after a second half turnaround by the Suns. The Suns decided to double Kawhi Leonard in the second half after he was controlling the game for the Clippers. Booker and Durant also turned on the jets on the second half, Booker ending with 38 points and Durant ending with 25.

The team as a whole shot 58.8 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from three. This Suns starting lineup is going to be the key for this team Chris Paul closed this game for the Suns ending with 16 points and 8 assists, and one if not two of the Suns starters are going to have to play amazing to keep up with this Clippers teams depth. Kawhi Leonard and Russell Westbrook had great games, Kawhi ending with 31 points and Westbrook ending the game with 28 point 5 rebounds and 5 assists on the night. The Suns were too much for them tonight and they definitely needed this win heading on the road the L.A.
