The Eagles Blast The Giants In A Win On The Road

The Philadelphia Eagles Improve to 12-1 on the season after defeating the New York Giants 48-22 on the road.

The Eagles offense was firing on all cylinders Sunday afternoon against the New York Giants who are coming off of a tie game against the Washington Commanders last week. The Eagles jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the middle of the second quarter basically putting to rest any hope that the giants had to win this game.

Jalen Hurts threw for two touchdowns and 217 yards a solid game from him overall, but it was the rushing attack from Jalen and Miles Sanders that was unstoppable for the Birds today. Jalen along with throwing for 217 yards, rushed for 77 yards and one touchdown on the ground making this the first back-to-back season where a quarterback has rushed for 10 touchdowns. Miles Sanders was also unbelievable today rushing for 144 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.

The Eagles defense was able to hold Saquon Barkley to just 3.1 yards a carry and only allowed for one true touchdown drive for the Giants, the other drive coming from a blocked punt that the Giants were able to take 15 yards to a touchdown.

This was a dominate showing for the Eagles trying to show that they are on top of the NFL right now heading into the final weeks of the season. The Eagles have officially clinched a playoff birth and are the first team in the league to do so. The Giants fall to 7-5-1 and now sit at the bottom of the NFC East after an amazing and surprising start to the season.
